# Getting Started with Add to Calendar PRO

Start with an event: it holds the details you want to share or the occasion people will register for. You can choose its appearance and registration options as you go.

You do not need to configure every area of the app before publishing your first event.

## Choose what you want to do

| Your goal | Start here |
| :--- | :--- |
| Let people save a date to their calendar | [Create an event](/application-manual/create-event) |
| Collect registrations or attendance responses | [Set up an RSVP form](/application-manual/rsvp-forms) |
| Offer an ongoing calendar people can subscribe to | [Create a calendar subscription](/application-manual/calendar-subscriptions) |
| Display several events on a website | [Create a public event list](/application-manual/event-list) |
| Find attendees or download responses | [Manage RSVP responses](/application-manual/managing-rsvp) |

## How the building blocks fit together

An **event group** keeps related events together, such as “Webinars” or “Community meetups”. Every event belongs to a group. A group can also provide a calendar subscription or a public event list.

An **event** contains the title, dates, location, and description. Its **ProKey** is the identifier that connects your published event to its website button, form, and sharing links.

A **style** controls the appearance, language, and calendar choices. A **template** supplies reusable content or functionality:

* **RSVP template:** registration questions, attendance limits, and email options.
* **Email template:** the wording and design of a particular RSVP email.
* **Landing page template:** the page people open when you share your event link.
* **CTA template:** a follow-up message, link, sharing prompt, or form.

An event can use a style and several templates. Email templates are connected through the RSVP template.

## Reuse settings thoughtfully

You can link the same style or template to multiple events. For example, all your webinars can share a registration form and brand colors.

These are live connections. Editing a shared item can affect other linked events. Before saving, check its **Usage** information and any message about connected items. To change only one event, create a separate style or template and link that instead.

## Find your way around

Use **Events** for your events and groups, **Styles** for design, and **Templates** for reusable content. **Team** manages colleagues; **Settings** manages your account and organization.

If guidance is missing inside the app, turn off **Hide Hints** under **Settings → User**. For a missing event or an unexpected result, start with [Troubleshooting](/application-manual/troubleshooting).
