Share Event Links and Calendar Buttons
Open a published event to find its sharing summary at the top. You can share a link without building a website, or connect the event to an existing site.
Choose the right sharing format
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| Landing Page | Social posts, messages, and a single link to event details or registration. |
| Email Links | Newsletter and email buttons that open the appropriate calendar or RSVP flow. |
| Integration / ProKey | A button or RSVP form on your website. |
| ics File | A calendar attachment someone can import manually. |
Share the landing page
- Open the event and find Landing Page in the summary.
- Open the page yourself to check it.
- Copy its URL into your message or social post.
For RSVP events, the landing page starts the registration flow. Customize its introduction and appearance with a landing page template.
Avoid including information you would not want forwarded. A published link can be shared by anyone who receives it.
Add links to an email
Open Email Links and choose the presentation you need, such as a button, buttons list, or text. Copy it into your email editor using a desktop browser. Show direct links gives you URLs to use with your own email buttons.
Send yourself a test through your email platform. Email clients, especially Outlook, may display designs differently. If images do not appear, try a text presentation or the Use img tags option; external images may still depend on the recipient allowing image downloads.
The email options are intentionally simpler than website buttons. You do not need to embed website JavaScript in an email.
Put a button or form on your website
Open Integration and copy the event's ProKey or the displayed snippets. Send the key and the guide for your website system to whoever manages your site.
Use an event ProKey for one event. Use a group ProKey for a calendar subscription or public event list.
Use a calendar file
The ics File can be attached to an email. Direct file downloads are not included in save-click analytics. Use the provided iCal email link when you need the tracked calendar-sharing flow.
After editing the event
Publish your changes and allow a few minutes for delivery. Existing event links remain useful, but a file already downloaded or a calendar entry already imported is a separate copy. A calendar subscription is the better fit when ongoing updates are the goal.
